Shell Stitch Pocket Scarf – PA-328 – $3.59

Crochet Shell Stitch Pocket Scarf

A pattern for a Shell Stitch Pocket Scarf, a warm and cozy winter accessory.

Create this warm and wonderful scarf in a chunky yarn using a larger hook. The yarn used for this design is a unique self-striping ombre that gradually shades from one color to the next. However, this Shell Stitch Pocket Scarf would be just as fabulous in a solid color or other multi-color yarns.

In a hurry, or have a time crunch? This is a quick and easy pattern stitched up in a fabulous chunky yarn. So simple to make, just crochet the scarf in two pieces and seam the center back. Crochet two pockets and join them to the scarf as you crochet the border. Crocheted buttons add a boutique look and work very well crocheted in this chunky yarn. However, purchased buttons would be just as wonderful, depending on your style.

Size: Adult woman, one size fits most. Approximately 8″ wide and 66″ in lenght.
Skill level: Intermediate.
Materials: “Scarfie” (a chunky/bulky weight or size 5 yarn) from Lion Brand Yarn.
Tools: Boye crochet hooks, U.S. sizes J and K.
Please note: Instructions come in an easy to read, easy to understand pattern and are written in U.S. crochet terminology.
