A pattern for a keyhole scarf crocheted in openwork shells.

Create a winter fashion statement in a quick and easy lacy design. Starting at the back of the neck, the scarf is crocheted lenghtwise until one half of the scarf is worked to the desired length. Then work the second half of the scarf from the back neck as for the first half creating a keyhole opening for comfortable wearing.

In a hurry, or have a time crunch? This is a quick and easy pattern that is stitched up in a wonderful chunky yarn using a large crochet hook.

Size: Adult woman – one size fits most. Approximately 5 1/2″ wide and 48 1/2″ in length.
Skill level: Intermediate.
Materials: “Scarfie” (a chunky weight or size 5 yarn) from Lion Brand Yarn.
Tools: Boye crochet hook, U.S. size J.
