A crochet pattern for a Ruffled Lace Scarf from Nancy Brown-Designer. A pattern for an out-of-the-ordinary scarf.
This frilly, flirty, fabulous scarf is designed for the Intermediate Crocheter and works up quickly and easily. The scarf starts with a center stripe of Shells. Then three rows on either side are worked with increases in each row to create ruffles.
The pattern is writtten in three lengths. Please see sizes below. The lenghts are for a shorter or petite woman, a person of medium height and a tall or larger individual. The scarf shown in the photograph is crocheted in the longest length.
Size: Adult woman: Small (Medium, Large). The scarf is approximately 4″ wide and 66″ in length.
Skill level: Intermediate.
Materials: Anti-Pilling Everyday DK (a DK weight or size 3) yarn from Premier Yarns.
Tools: U.S. size H crochet hook.
